Sales Representative End User

Location: Iowa

If so we have an exciting opportunity on our ASSA ABLOY sales team that is meant for you.

What you will be doing:

In this role you will be responsible for calling on Facility Managers Security Directors IT Directors and Construction and Planning Departments within an end user account. Additionally you will partner with local selling partners including wholesalers integrators locksmiths and distributors to maximize positive impact with end user accounts. We need a sales professional capable of relationship and technical solution selling within the commercial construction multi-family and property management market segments to gain approval for the product lines represented by Door Security Solutions.

Key areas you will contribute to the role include:

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers including locksmiths facility managers IT networking managers and executives.
  • Develop short- and long-term sales plans.
  • Identify and classify the sales potential of each client.
  • Establish a network of clients with a high level of trust developing relationships quickly and easily.
  • Sell opening solutions as a consultant using a communication approach that can be effective with a diverse audience.
  • Apply discovery abilities including prospecting profiling qualifying identifying client needs and presenting solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about selling a full range of door opening solutions.
  • You are detail-oriented organized and known for follow-up habits.
  • Youre a strong communicator active listener and negotiator.
  • You can work independently but believe in teamwork.
  • You have the ability to read understand specifications/facility standards and technical aptitude in building construction electromechanical and IT networking.
  • Ability to travel (70% - 80% locally) and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or in-the-field at a construction site or building facility.

Education and/or experience:

  • Your background includes a College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural design/engineering construction science/management or similar).
  • Industry related experience with openings as a commercial locksmith door frames/hardware installer contractors license for installation CHD project manager with school healthcare or institutional facilities.
  • Working knowledge of related software is a plus.

ASSA ABLOY offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including bonus a 401(k) plan education assistance company car and an environment that reflects our commitment to our employees. The wage range for this role is from $100k - $115k plus bonus and considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to to primary work job-related knowledge skills experience training licensure and certifications business requirements geographic location and other business and organizational needs. This salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
