Job Description
Findlay Toyota is seeking an experienced Parts Consultant for our high volume parts department. Findlay is one of the largest and fastest growing automotive groups in the Southwestern US. Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive atmosphere while working closely with other team members perform all job duties in an ethical and honest manner and demonstrate integrity and professionalism at all times.
- Assist customers by identifying their needs and selecting necessary parts including any required companion parts.
- Identify opportunities for additional parts and accessory sales and achieve sales goals set by the parts manager.
- Provide promptprice and availability information to technicians and advisors for vehicles in service.
- Ensure internal (back counter) parts requests are promptly filled accurately billed on the repair order and staged for pick-up.
- Keep current knowledge on new products and remain educated in all product updates.
- Understand and comply with all OSHA standards and handle chemical/ hazardous materials safely. Ensure proper storage of hazardous materials.
- Monitor inventory notify the parts manager of items that need replenishment and participate in annual inventory check.
- Perform basic math and utilize multiple different computer programs and software systems efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with Toyota and/or Lexusas a parts representative preferred
- Previous experience with Inventory Control
- Proficient in use of the CDK software system
- Multilingual preferred
- Valid Nevada drivers license
