Founded in 1887 Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed acute care nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles California. The Pharmacist Intern is responsible for technical clerical and transportation duties for the department and is involved with the preparation distribution and delivery of medication. The intern pharmacist also performs professional duties as related to The 4 Key Processes for Medication Usage (Prescribing Preparation and Dispensing Administering Monitoring.) All work is performed under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The intern pharmacist will also demonstrate competency in patient care for neonates pediatrics adolescents adults and geriatric patients.
