British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Dealer in Bucharest
The role is a fixed term contract for 2 years. Under the direction of the Dealing Room Manager the role holder will transact the activities of the Treasury Service Centre (TSC).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Transact money market and foreign exchange on behalf of group companies to ensure that the respective daily treasury positions for each company are managed and funded efficiently and cost-effectively
- Transact multi-currency cash-flow portfolio at group level ensuring positions are invested or funded in the most appropriate manner
- Review the FX and liquidity positions/ instructions
- Undertake and execute FX hedging programs in respect of group companies
- Continually manage and maintain the Groups external and TSCs internal business partner relationships ensuring that TSC receives and delivers best practice Treasury service
- Provide upon request market-based information to TSC participants and other interested parties
What are we looking for
- Good understanding of the way financial markets work particularly the impact of economic data and its relationship to movements in the foreign exchange and money markets
- Experience dealing with financial institutions and other external stakeholders at senior level
- Advanced English level
- Hands-on approach and fast response rate
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Treasury
- Prior experience with execution through trading platforms would be a plus
