We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our growing team. Consider applying for this incredible opportunity!
The Sales Representative will be responsible for:
New Sales Strategy
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new customer acquisition opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices incorporating relevant sales strategies
Relationship management
Engage with existing and new customers both in-person at our Winnipeg or Saskatchewan office and on-site in communities to understand their construction and renovation goals.
Provide personalized sales support.
Act as a key point of contact between customers and other stakeholders.
Coordinate with our Ready-to-Move (RTM) and Construction teams to expand service offerings and develop project solutions.
Communicate customer needs and transition the management of the construction project to internal departments.
Reporting and Communication
Support cross-department collaboration to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.
Participate and lead sales training for existing employees as required.
Take on additional assignments as needed to support team objectives.
The ideal candidate will have
Experience in sales or customer service within the building materials construction or housing sectors.
Familiarity with working in Northern communities is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.
Capable of managing multiple tasks meeting deadlines and working independently or as part of a team.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Understanding of construction basics including blueprint interpretation is beneficial.
Self-motivated with a professional and culturally respectful approach.
Must have a valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle; some travel is required to non-urban locations.
