Brazonics Inc. is a brazing machining and engineering company based out of Hampton New Hampshire. Brazonics specializes in dip and vacuum brazing combined with highly sophisticated chassis testing. Our distinct process goes beyond traditional capabilities to deliver durable and highly efficient thermal solutions to aerospace and commercial industries. This position provides the right candidate with an exceptional opportunity to grow their manufacturing engineering career. The selected candidate will support the Thermal and Electronic Solutions team within Mission Systems and the individual will play a key role in the organization as they prepare for facility relocation.

The Durham location is a brand-new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which includes:

This position will work between the existing Hampton and newly opened Durham locations while the facility relocation is finalized by June 2026.

This position will be expected to work within the production floor 50 % of their work week and 50% at their desk on average.

What You Will Do

  • Day-to-day development support and troubleshooting of automated machine tool control systems and manufacturing applications
  • Lead and manage automation project timelines that include design development programming testing and commissioning of control systems (PLC HMI & DCS) into Manufacturing
  • Maintain the development and review system architecture hardware design and software programming standards
  • Optimize and build reliability in current control systems
  • Support creation and maintenance of project documentation including functional design specifications IO lists and electrical wiring diagrams
  • Exposure and input to full I4.0 project lifecycle- from requirements generation to technical project management to execution & sustainment of automation projects
  • Ensure software meets technical specifications quality standards and user expectations
  • Develop training programs for staff to effectively use new technologies and provide ongoing support
  • Coordinate testing and QA efforts ensuring thorough testing and debugging before release
  • Track project progress against milestones deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Report project status risks/mitigations and achievements to senior management and stakeholders regularly
  • Use project management tools to maintain project documentation and ensure that the team adheres to deadlines
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including key deployment teams process engineers material handling quality and operations to define project requirements and specifications
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Allen Bradley Siemens Hitachi and Honeywell PLC
  • Experience Fanuc Robot
  • Experience with industrial robots and programing PLCs
  • Experience with automation sustainment and troubleshooting including knowledge of electrical mechanical and pneumatic drawings and schematics.
  • Ladder Diagram experience
  • Studio 5000 experience
  • Robot Teach pendant experience

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
