Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patients chest.
Dominican Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Program Director (PD). The position provides oversight for all administrative aspects of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Programs at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) Dominican Hospital Santa Cruz. Specific responsibilities include project development and implementation employee interviewing hiring orienting and supervision overseeing marketing and communication managing and reconciling all program finances including grants. Oversees all aspects of resident recruitment through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Supports the PD to ensure compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements National Residency Matching program (NRMP) the Electronic Resident Application Service (ERAS) and the California Medical Boards. The position is also responsible for being the liaison among administration the teaching faculty system hospitals and other teaching sites professional associations and the program affiliates which is consistent with the Mission and Values of CommonSpirit Health Morehouse School of Medicine and More in Common Alliance.
