Job Description

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join a well-established Maltese winery with a strong reputation for producing high-quality wines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about science and quality control to contribute to the winemaking process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze samples of grape must and wine to monitor quality parameters.

  • Accurately record analytical results and report findings to the Winemaking Team.

  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

  • Manage inventory by ordering and receiving laboratory supplies as needed.

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems aligned with HACCP and ISO 9001 standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an O-Level qualification in a science subject preferably Chemistry.

  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and efficiency in lab work.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Fluent in Maltese English or Italian.

  • Previous experience in a laboratory or similar role will be considered an asset.
