Job Description
Job Title:Procurement Agent (m/f/d)

Locations:Burgess Hill
To strengthen our Purchasing team we are looking for aProcurement Agent at our Burgess Hill UK location for an indefinite period of time as soon as possible
As Procurement Agent:
- You are responsible for the purchase of consumables for the aviation industry and carry out tenders (RFQ/RFP) and bid comparisons
- You independently conduct negotiations and agreements with national and international suppliers and constantly demonstrate your negotiating and communication skills
- You analyze and evaluate statistical data and create a basis for optimized procurement strategies and efficient price negotiations
- Your tasks also include supplier recommendation and selection
- You work cross-functionally and with suppliers to find solutions to payment issues
Requirements:
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship primarily as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk industrial clerk or similar or a degree in supply chain management or similar.
- You have initial experience in purchasing
- Very good written and spoken English skills are a matter of course for you
- Experienced use of the MS Office package especially Excel makes your daily work easier
