Do you possess an eagle eye for detail and a talent for transforming procurement into a competitive advantage Comex 2000 is on the hunt for a dynamic and self-starting Buyer to join our vibrant team!
This isnt just a job; its an exhilarating opportunity to be at the heart of our purchasing operations driving significant group objectives and shaping our future! Youll be instrumental in executing our Procurement Strategy hand-picking top-tier products and ensuring seamless on-time delivery every time.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Forging Powerful Partnerships: Build robust relationships with suppliers mastering negotiations to secure the best prices optimal quantities and ideal delivery schedules.
- Performance Powerhouse: Monitor and manage supplier performance ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are not just met but exceeded.
- Market Maestro: Stay ahead of the curve by understanding market trends empowering you to make brilliantly informed buying decisions.
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the charge in sourcing new suppliers and setting up efficient purchasing frameworks.
- Operational Anchor: Become the trusted expert for all purchasing inquiries from Operations seamlessly coordinating with Warehouses and implementing swift corrective actions when needed.
- Driving Success: Hit KPIs out of the park across cost quality service and continuity of supply all while ensuring existing agreements are flawlessly upheld.

We need someone who thrives on both the nitty-gritty details and the big-picture strategy an individual eager to grow their expertise in an environment thats as challenging as it is rewarding!
Requirements
- A solid 3 years of proven experience as a Buyer.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation prowess.
- Sharp analytical skills that cut through complexity.
- Acute commercial awareness.
- IT savvy with a preference for SAP experience.
- Bonus points for experience in the telecoms or construction industries!
- CIPS qualification Levels 3 or 4 are highly desirable.
