Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medical Oncology
Location: Mukwonago
FTE: 0.90 Full Time First Shift 8-hour shifts
Weekend rotation: Every 6th weekend
Begin your story with ProHealth Care at our UW Cancer Center in Pewaukee. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Oncology team providing outpatient oncology care across our Pewaukee Oconomowoc and Mukwonago locations. This position is based primarily in Mukwonago and supports both clinic and infusion operations.
In this role you will work directly with oncology patients for rooming port access lab draws and coordination with providers. Strong attention to detail compassion and communication skills are essential. Prior oncology or ambulatory clinic experience is preferred.

The Medical Oncology department is a high-volume multidisciplinary outpatient team consisting of Nationally Certified Oncology RNs Oncology Nurse Navigators LPNs and support staff. Patients are seen for a wide range of treatments including chemotherapy transfusions and other infusions.

The Clinic LPN (or Medical Assistant) performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients in the Medical Oncology Cancer Center Clinic.
Some of the job responsibilities include: preparing exam room; ensure sufficient stock of supplies materials and instruments; room patients and obtain vital signs; request and record health history; and ensure accurate and timely documentation into the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or other patient records.
