ABOUT THE ROLE:

But at McCain its not just about what we make but its about how we make it thats important.

We are looking for Technical Operatives (also known as Tech Ops) to join our #WeAreMcCain family.

It would be your role to ensure our products are produced to company standard which includes:

• Sampling of raw product
• Maintaining machine output
• Validation of line conditions
• Effective communication to other functions

All whilst maintaining high quality hygiene maximum production and a high level of safety our number one priority here at McCain.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

You might have never worked in a food manufacturing environment before and thats OK! Were quick learners here at McCain so we can teach you everything you need to know.

However we are looking for someone who can really make a difference to our plant who brings experience of working in a team the ability to work closely with their manager and who has a real ability to bring people along a change journey with them.

You must also have

• A keen eye for continuous improvement and who will strive to find areas to enhance our line operations within our plant.
• The ability to work at pace without jeopardising quality and standards.
• A team player who can play towards creating our winning culture.
• A passion for quality with an eye for detail.

WHERE YOULL WORK

Youll be based at our Scarborough plant in North Yorkshire. We opened this plant back in the swinging sixties but its definitely not stuck in the past. Its one of the largest French fry factories in the world and after a recent development its also one of the most high tech. Our team of over 300 colleagues work hard to make sure the quality of our products keep our customers returning for more for now and years to come!
