Reporting to the Senior Manager of Health Safety & Environment ANZ & Japan you will manage the delivery of all HSE activities for commercial areas (corporate office Sales warehouses) including standards & procedures capabilityprocesses reporting compliance and audit across Australia and New Zealand.

This ANZ role would suit a proactive and personable individual that enjoys working strategically with commercial teams to drive a safety culture.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Co-ordinate implementation of all HSE programs and processes. Prepare and build consensus annual plansfor facility/function wide HSE initiatives
• Plan/Budget/Control annual capital budget for HSE to enable execution of the HSE plan and adherence to all internal andexternal compliance standards
• Provide HSE expertise for the facility/function for all new projects and change management activities
• Ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted and follow ups implemented to minimize or eliminate accidentsasset losses that might cause harm to one of the companys employees contractors visitors
• Ensure the facility standards follow both Company and governmental/community regulations
• Ensure training and coaching are taking place to drive a safety-perfect culture and to ensure safety standards andawareness are well understood throughout the organization

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

• Strong experience as a Health Safety and Environment Practitioner preferably within a diverse manufacturing construction or commercial environment across ANZ (Minimum 5 years in HSE of which at least 3 should have been in Commercial HSE is preferrable)
• Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety and Return to Work
• Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in a self-insured business would be advantageous yet not mandatory
