Job Description
Job Title: DE Underwriter (203K Experience Required)
Location: Remote (Must reside in any U.S. state except California)
Schedule: Full-Time Eastern Standard Time (EST) Hours Required
Overview:
Were partnering with a reputable lender looking to add an experienced DE Underwriter to their team. This is a fully remote role but candidates must be located outside of California and available to work standard Eastern Time business hours.
Key Requirements (Must-Have):
Must have actively underwritten and signed off FHA loans using a DE CHUMS ID within the last 11 months
Active DE CHUMS ID
Demonstrated experience with 203K renovation loans (required)
Must reside in a U.S. state other than California (client is not registered to employ in California)
Availability to work a full-time Eastern Standard Time (EST) schedule
Responsibilities:
Review and underwrite FHA and renovation loan files in accordance with agency investor and company guidelines
Analyze credit income assets and collateral documentation for accuracy and risk
Review and clear conditions; issue final approvals using DE credentials
Ensure all decisions meet compliance quality and production standards
Communicate with internal teams to resolve issues and support a smooth closing process
Stay current on all HUD/FHA guideline updates including 203K regulations
