POSITION SUMMARY
Assists in the planning implementation and evaluation of recreational social intellectual emotional and spiritual programs in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respects and upholds all residents personal and property rights whenever carrying out duties including knocking before entering a residents room.
- Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Assists and/or conducts assigned group or one-to-one activity programs according to calendar.
- Moves and arranges equipment/supplies to assure that activity areas are ready for scheduled activity.
- Assists residents move to and from activity programs as needed.
- Is responsible for returning all activity department materials to their proper place in a timely manner and maintaining a tidy pleasant atmosphere in activity room.
- Assists Activity Director in developing schedule for activities distributes monthly activity calendars to residents and posts changes to calendar according to state and federal regulations.
- Follows resident care plan in providing daily activities for residents.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in related position in healthcare environment
- Aptitude for and/or some training in arts and crafts required
- CPR/First Aide certified
- High school diploma or equivalent desirable

Salary Range: $19/hr*
*The salary range is the one that Corona Post Acute reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual salary will depend on several factors (e.g. experience educations qualifications etc.).
