Job Description

Tomlinson Environmental Services a leading environmental services provider in Eastern Ontario is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Manager to lead their environmental sales group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and growing a successful sales team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share

  • Manage a team of 15 employees

  • Recruit train motivate and grow sales team members

  • Set sales targets and monitor performance against targets

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling

  • Conduct sales presentations to potential clients and negotiate contracts

  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation

  • Manage and maintain accurate sales records and reports using Salesforce

  • Analyze sales metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a regular basis

  • Organize/participate in customer events

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the environmental services industry

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing a sales team

  • Proven track record of sales success and meeting or exceeding targets

  • Must be committed to continuous process improvement

  • Strong communication leadership and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients

  • Proficient in Salesforce and other sales management tools

  • Knowledge and experience in the solid waste industry would be preferred

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment.

  • Some travel required. Must be able to include a wide spectrum of entertainment during and after work hours or working days.
