Job Summary:
The Fineos QA Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance process for Fineos Adminsuite specifically focusing on claims management. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience with Fineos Adminsuite and a total of 6-8 years of experience in software testing. This role requires a deep understanding of Fineos testing methodologies and the ability to lead a team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in planning developing and executing test strategies for Fineos Adminsuite with a focus on claims management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers business analysts and project managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.
- Design implement and maintain automated and manual test scripts for Fineos applications.
- Conduct thorough testing of Fineos Adminsuite components including functional regression integration and performance testing.
- Identify document and track defects and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team mentoring junior testers and enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain QA documentation including test plans test cases and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2-3 years specifically in Fineos Adminsuite.
- Strong experience in Fineos testing including a solid understanding of claims management workflows.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB CSTE).
- Familiarity with other insurance software systems.
