Are you passionate about precision and quality in aviation Join our Auckland Supply Chain Operations team as a Materials Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector and play a vital role in keeping our fleet and our customers aircraft flying safely and efficiently.

How youll make an impact

As a QA Inspector youll be responsible for ensuring that all incoming aircraft parts materials and components including those externally repaired meet strict compliance standards before being released for use. Youll be the gatekeeper of quality balancing meticulous inspection with the urgency of operational timeframes.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Inspecting and certifying aircraft parts and components to ensure full compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Reviewing documentation such as Service Bulletins and approved data to validate product integrity
  • Managing tight processing deadlines to support timely aircraft availability
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve quality issues and maintain operational flow
  • Upholding safety performance and customer service standards in every task
  • Managing quarantined articles to resolution

What were looking for

Youll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • A completed Aircraft Engineering trade or equivalent qualification plus 5 years aviation trade experience
  • Authorisation to certify aircraft or aircraft components
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong quality focus
  • Proficiency in SAP and technical documentation review
  • Clear communication skills across all levels of the business
  • A proactive self-starting attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
