This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany NY or Irvine CA. However we understand each persons circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options including remote work arrangements.

Blizzard Entertainments Hearthstone Community Team is seeking a dynamic Senior Influencer Relationship Manager. This role is pivotal in strategizing growing and nurturing our relationships with Hearthstone Content Creators and Influencers ensuring alignment with Hearthstones objectives.

What you bring to the table:

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours so this role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Influencer Strategies:Craft and implement effective measurable organic and paid global influencer strategies for Hearthstone guiding them through pre-launch launch and post-launch phases. Your work will directly influence the games visibility and engagement across diverse audiences.
  • Support Content Releases:Engage with Influencers and Content Creators to support new content releases hotfixes and patches. Your efforts will ensure timely and impactful dissemination of updates keeping the community informed and excited.
  • Expand Creator Network:Build and grow a diverse group of creators across various subjects. Identify and onboard new influential creators to the Hearthstone Creators Program. Your ability to scout and nurture talent will be crucial in expanding Hearthstones reach and influence.
  • Innovate Creator Program:Lead the development of new initiatives benefits and perks for the Hearthstone Creators Program. Your creativity and strategic thinking will enhance the value proposition for creators fostering stronger partnerships.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:Work closely with PR Community Publishing Digital Marketing and other internal teams to support global campaigns. Your collaboration will ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts amplifying Hearthstones presence.
  • Stay Trend and Culturally-Savvy:Maintain visibility and understanding of new and ongoing trends within the Influencer and Content Creator environment. Your insights will keep Hearthstone at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
  • Lead Influencer Activations:Coordinate discussions on Influencer activations across different departments and regions within Blizzard. Participate in strategic planning brand positioning and marketing opportunities. Your leadership will drive impactful influencer engagements.
  • Coordinate Global Events:Support and coordinate large-scale global creator events and summits. Your organizational skills will ensure seamless execution and memorable experiences for creators.
  • Compile Executive Summaries:Provide qualitative and quantitative detailed executive summaries on influencer coverage of Hearthstone and its business impact. Your analytical skills will offer valuable insights to inform future strategies.
  • Monitor and Escalate Issues:Track and escalate issues flagged by Influencers and Content Creators. Your proactive approach will help maintain positive relationships and address concerns promptly.
  • Support Player Developer Interactions:Partner with the Community team to assist with player and developer interactions. Your role will bridge the gap between the community and the development team fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Become a Hearthstone Expert:Liaise with other departments to educate and inform on the Influencer and Content Creators perspective regarding Hearthstone product updates. Your expertise will ensure that influencer strategies are aligned with the games evolution.

Requirements

  • Experience:Minimum 5 years in the Influencer / Content Creator field demonstrating measurable impact.
  • Project Management:Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strategic and creative thinking.
  • Communication Skills:Experience working with developers and communicating complex concepts in a player-friendly manner.
  • Detail-Oriented:Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks under shifting requirements and deadlines.
  • Team Player:Strong ability to balance and blend the needs of various departments and team members into effective strategies.
  • Organizational Skills:Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Communication:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical Thinking:Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate social conflicts professionally.
  • Passion for Gaming:A passion for gaming on PC and mobile.
  • Industry Knowledge:Awareness of mobile gaming behavioral trends and familiarity with Discord server management and social media platforms.

Some travel may be required for this role.

These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately your specific range and offer will be based on several factors including relevant experience performance and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this roles range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates new hire compensation is negotiable.
