Stefanini is looking for an IBM MQ Administrator in Richmond VA (Hybrid role).

- Advanced Configuration Managing distributed queue managers advanced channel configurations and multi-instance queue managers.
- High Availability & Clustering Setting up and managing HA environments queue manager clusters and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Advanced Security Implementing SSL/TLS encryption OAM security policies and integrating LDAP for authentication.
- Performance Tuning Optimizing queue manager and channel configurations for high throughput and low latency.
- Integration & Automation Developing scripts using Python Bash or PowerShell for automated monitoring and maintenance.
- Advanced Troubleshooting Diagnosing complex messaging failures dead-letter queues and performance bottlenecks using tools like dmpmqmsg strmqtrc dspmqtrc.
- Application Support & Development Knowledge Understanding how applications interact with IBM MQ including JMS and REST API.
- Monitoring & Alerting Using IBM MQ monitoring tools (IBM MQ Explorer Prometheus Splunk or Nagios) to track queue performance and generate alerts.

- At the intermediate level an IBM MQ administrator should be proficient in configuring maintaining and troubleshooting IBM MQ across multiple environments including high-availability (HA) and clustering.
