The Clarke County Health Department is seeking a Clerk to work at the Teen Matters location. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of clerical duties in support of the health department programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to data entry skills ability to maintain detailed filing and record systems and numerical accuracy. Must have good interviewing and communication skills. Requires good customer service and computer skills. Good reading and comprehension abilities. Other duties as assigned in support of management and staff. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Thursday 8:00a.m.-7:00p.m.
A High school graduate or GED AND Two years of general office or administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical experience.
Annual salary $33200 plus generous benefits that include 13 paid holidays annual and sick leave health insurance and retirement plans.

The use of breaks during the workday is authorized to support this philosophy and assist employees in meeting their goals. A maximum of 30 minutes in a given workday may be used to engage in physical activities generally in the form of two 15-minute breaks or one 30-minute break.
