THE ROLE:
Entegris is currently seeking Material Handler to join our team. This is a contract position based in our Decatur TX facility.
The Material Handler position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through a combination or selection of activities below including supporting manufacturing transferring and storing utility picking activities packaging and palletizing goods and other related duties as assigned.
HOURS FOR POSITION ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-4:45PM WITH ABILITY TO WORK OVERTIME AT THE FRONT END OF THE SHIFT.
WHAT YOULL DO:
- SAP transactions to include:
- Creating deliveries
- Post Goods Issue of deliveries
- Creating and entering Cycle Count Records
- Creating Purchase Requisitions
- Other transactions to include:
- Processing shipments through the UPS and FedEx operating systems
- Conducting and monitoring physical counts for Logistics supplies
- Organizing and scheduling shipments with different Freight carriers
- Train new employees in the Logistics Pick/Pack/Ship processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to consistently produce high-quality work.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE SEEK:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A year or more of experience in warehouse environment preferred.
- General PC skills required to include SAP UPS and FedEx operating systems.
- Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
- Able to pass pre-employment physical.
- Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
- Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
