Job Description
Looking for an after-school job that is rewarding hands-on and full of heart We are hiring Assistant Teachers to support our Extended Day Program a safe and playful environment for students after the school day ends.
In this role youll:
- Stay alert to safety concerns during play homework and transitions
- Communicate with parents regarding student behavior and/or progress
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized working classroom environment
- Support and coordinate daily programming with the Extended Day Teacher
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the program
Youre a great fit if:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Genuine love for working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience working with children
