Join the Action at Dunfermline Athletic Football Club as a SIA Security Steward and earn 13.65 per hour!
Step into the vibrant world of football at East End Park the iconic home of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club. Your role as a matchday SIA Security Steward will put you at the heart of the action ensuring fans and visitors have a safe and memorable experience.
We are looking to recruit additional SIA Door Supervisor Security Stewards to support our current Events Team working at East End Park. Additionally you could find yourself supporting the broader music sports and corporate events at Murrayfield Hive Stadium and Royal Highland Centre. You could be part of making these events a success. If youre open to travel we even have opportunities to be part of some of the biggest events in the UK.
Our Event SIA Security Stewards provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. Which means you could be inside or outside on your feet showing people where to go checking tickets at entry monitoring the crowd and managing the car parking facilities. Wherever you are youll be the fun helpful and friendly face representing the event.
As an Event SIA Security Steward you will be responsible for securing the venues staff and visitors for our customers.
This may include:
- Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
- Searching visitors on entry to venues
- Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues
- Monitoring visitor / crowd movements and behavior to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary
- Dealing with visitor / crowd disruptions
- Securing licenced / hospitality areas

You will be employed on a casual basis meaning you can work as many events as you like - we are able to offer a variety of hours days evenings weekends and weekdays. You will need to hold your SIA Door Supervisor licence - dont worry if you dont have this you can still be considered as a Steward so please see our other opportunities on the website.
You will just need to complete the following application form and one of our Recruiters will be in touch to discuss the next steps. Our recruitment and selection process will include an interview and screening to BS7858 standards.
Given the nature of the industry we do need to ask some questions for security and compliance purposes but dont worry - you will only need to complete them once.
