The role
Lead complex business/technical initiatives ensuring problems are clearly defined and customer-centric solutions delivered
Mentor Business Analysts within the BA Centre of Excellence and actively contribute to CoE meetings.
Support the Delivery Manager in upholding Agile processes and participate in agile ceremonies.
Act as a role model by embodying and promoting company values culture and standards.
Collaborate with Product Managers Technical Leads and stakeholders to deliver business-focused solutions aligned with strategic and sprint goals.
Elicit analyse and document business requirements and processes using techniques such as workshops interviews and process mapping.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and acceptance criteria; maintain up-to-date system documentation (e.g. Jira story cards).
Work with developers SMEs and QA to define technical solutions validate test plans and ensure usability performance and quality outcomes.
Manage multiple initiatives concurrently while applying strong analytical and product management skills.
We are seeking a Business Analyst with a minimum of 8 years experience ideally within insurance and financial services. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile (Scrum) experience proven core BA competencies and advanced knowledge of general insurance systems and processes. Key skills include business process mapping user story creation and experience with insurance software development. Familiarity with the Guidewire suite strategic planning and contemporary BA tools and methodologies is highly desirable
