This role also servesas a liaison between the district and the Ashland County Health Department collaborating on public healthinitiatives communicable disease prevention and community wellness programs. The District Nurse alsoworks closely with students families and school staff to address individual health needs support chroniccondition management and promote a safe and healthy learning environment. The District Nurse must beable to prioritize tasks effectively adhere to timelines and meet local state and federal deadlines andrequirements. Clear timely professional oral and written communications to all stakeholder groups areessential as well as proficiency in computer applications including word processing email and electronichealth is a part-time position with a total of up to 200 hours per school year equivalent to approximately 5hours per week during the academic year.
