Responsibilities:

Plan menus according to CACFP nutrition guidelines and reimbursement requirements.
Shop for meals and snacks as directed;
Maintain a clean and sanitized prep and cooking area at all times;
Prepare breakfast. Lunch and snack serve to classrooms.
Responsible for maintaining CACFP refrigerator/freezer temperature charts and food production logs.
Responsible for cleaning the kitchens and daily dishes. Responsible for cleaning the bathrooms and taking out kitchen trash when the janitor is absent.
Consistently follows universal health precautions. May be asked to cover lunch breaks for teachers if staff numbers are low.
Reports to work at scheduled times and maintains good attendance. Perform all duties in a timely and professional manner.
Participate with a positive attitude and behavior in all program activities.
Participates in mandatory AWARE training in-services staff meetings and corporate committees as assigned.
Upon hiring will undergo training and will be expected to pass testing in the following areas: First Aid/CPR Blood-Borne Pathogens Fire Safety Food Handler and Vehicle Operations
Perform other duties as assigned and reasonably within the scope of the duties listed above.

Requirements

Talents skills and abilities:

High School Diploma or GED is required along with at least one year of direct employment related experience.
Must have a valid Montana drivers license
