Job Title: Accounts Payable/ Receivable Clerk
Pay Rate: $21/hr.
Shift: 1st
Benefits: Medical Dental AD&D
All functions of AR: posting cash receipts remote deposit collections set up new customers familiarity with credit insurance
Accounts Receivable Payable Clerk Job Duties:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
- Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
- Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
- Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing payments or adjustments.
- Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
- Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Teamwork: Demonstrates ability to work harmoniously with others to get a job done. Attitude promotes positive work environment; respects others; resolves issues and conflicts. Communicates effectively with team members and provides constructive suggestions to improve team performance.
