The Support Group Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial planning reporting and analysis functions within the FP&A Division. Working closely with the Planning Reporting & Analysis Director this position ensures the accuracy consistency and efficiency of financial reports data consolidation and business intelligence initiatives. The analyst will contribute to the standardization and automation of financial planning processes helping drive data-driven decision-making within Calderys.
Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Data Consolidation
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial reports ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Support the maintenance of financial data integrity across regions (Asia Pacific EMEA Americas).
- Ensure consistency in financial reporting by following standardized methodologies.
- Support financial storytelling by providing data-driven insights to enhance reporting quality.
2. Financial Planning & Forecasting Support
- Assist in the annual budget quarterly forecast and strategic planning processes.
- Support the development of financial models and scenario analyses.
- Ensure proper data input validation and reconciliation within financial systems.
- Help improve forecasting accuracy through data analysis and automation.
3. Business Intelligence & Data Analytics
- Assist in leveraging BI tools such as Power BI SAP or Hyperion to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to extract clean and analyze financial data.
- Contribute to the integration of AI and automation solutions into financial processes.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making.
4. Standardization & Process Optimization
- Support initiatives to harmonize FP&A practices across business units and regions.
- Contribute to the automation of reporting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in the documentation of FP&A policies ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement in financial workflows and reporting structures.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with regional FP&A teams to ensure alignment in financial reporting and planning.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support to senior management and business leaders.
- Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial performance metrics.
- Support the adoption of new digital finance technologies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: > 5 years of experience in FP&A financial analysis or a related function ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (SAP Hyperion Power BI Excel).
