Job Description

Associate Procurement Analyst (Level 2)

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Analyst (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Ridley Park Pennsylvania.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Measures key performance indicators
  • Extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources
  • Prepares reports
  • Reviews procurement/planning systems
  • Reviews schedules creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities
  • Coordinates schedule changes with procurement for contractual changes to purchase orders and supplier incorporation
  • Documents and participates in the implementation of lean improvements.
  • Communicates project objectives and activities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 1 year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • More than 1 year of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 1 year of experience in COGNOS report writing
  • More than 1 year of experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management
  • More than 1 year of experience managing and coordinating supply/demand imbalances
  • More than 1 year of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
