Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Edison NJ - Hybrid Schedule
An independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to help support their commercial lines department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares summaries of insurance schedules and proposals as needed for account review
- Perform policy quoting binding issuing new & renewal marketing
- Maintains and updates files in agency management system.
- Verifies policy and change information facilitating corrections when necessary.
- Processes incoming email and mail requests responding promptly and appropriately.
- Verifies accuracy of all direct billed cancellations and takes appropriate corrective action when needed.
- Determines reasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accounts; notifies producers according to agency standards.
- Processing Certificates & Endorsements
Qualification:
- Active P&C license required
- Must be okay with hybrid schedule
- 4 years Insurance industry experience in a retail agency
- Proficiency with Epic AMS360 or a similar agency management system
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
