Job Description
Network Technician
PC# 2172
Qualifications:
- High school graduate and other advanced training. College degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience in PC support in a network environment.
- A Certification required.
- Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Terminal Services experience preferred.
- Good record keeping skills as well as knowledge of computer applications including word processing databases spreadsheets and other software.
- Proficiency with Windows 98 2000 XP including registry recovery.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people as part of a team good written and oral communication skills ability to manage time wisely valid Alabama drivers license and physical strength and dexterity to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reports to: Technology Supervisor
Job Goal: Support the use of technology for instructions communication and administration in a network environment. Install configure and upgrades PCs and peripherals. Assist end users in the proper management of their equipment. Perform routine maintenance troubleshoot and repair PCs and peripherals. Assist Computer Network Technician as needed. Work with technology team to develop procedures and practices to minimize downtime and maximize network efficiency.
Terms of Employment: Twelve-month contract (240 days).
