Alamon Inc. is pleased to offer you the position of Data Entry Specialist for its Utilitys East department. The DataEntry Specialistis responsible for accurately entering and managing data into computer systems and databases. In this role you will be responsible for inputting updating and maintaining data into our companys database and computer systems. You will ensure that all data is accurate complete and processed in a timely manner. Your work will support various departments by providing accurate information for decision-making and analysis. This position is eligible for incentive-based pay when applicable and available. Job Description: - Accurately enter data into the company database spreadsheets or other computer systems.
- Verify the accuracy of data before inputting and perform regular data quality checks.
- Maintain and update records ensuring information is kept current and secure.
- Process incoming forms surveys or other materials requiring data entry.
- Identify and correct errors in data such as inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
- Organize and manage physical and digital data files to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Prepare reports and generate data summaries as required by management or departments.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Respond to inquiries or issues related to data entry from other departments or clients.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Qualifications: - Possess a current/valid drivers license and a clean driving record with no DUI/DWIs within the past 5 years.
- Must pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
- Abilities to successfully complete job tasks.
- Possess a professional attitude that will positively represent the Alamon organization to clients and the communities in which they work.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and working phone number.
Work Environment: - This is a remote position.
Physical Demands: - Must be able to lift carry and bend.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Carry or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements: - Minimal travel may be required.
- Transportation and lodging are provided while traveling and working for the company.
Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required (associate or bachelors degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel Word etc.) and other data management software.
- Familiarity with database management systems and data entry tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
