About the role
The Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This role involves leveraging expertise in PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud to create insightful dashboards reports and data models. The Business Intelligence Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
What youll be doing
- BI Solution Development: Design and develop BI solutions using PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud
- Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards to present data insights
- Report Generation: Generate and automate reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources to provide comprehensive reporting
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions
- Collaboration: Work closely with business users data analysts and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on BI tools and best practices
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and trends to continuously improve solutions
What you have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence with specific experience in PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud
- Proficiency in PowerBI and Qlik Sense Cloud
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Bonus
- Relevant certifications in PowerBI Qlik Sense or other BI tools
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with ETL processes data warehousing and cloud platforms
