General Orthopedics/Ortho Trauma
Central Maine Healthcare seeks a full time BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join its well-established surgery department located in Lewiston ME at Central Maine Medical Center. This position has significant opportunity for elective work in general orthopedics and/or joint replacement in addition totraumawork. Fellowship training in orthopedictraumais not required but significant experience managingtraumapatients is preferred.
Emergency Department coverage at a Level III trauma center approximately one weekend per month
Participate in the weekday/night ED coverage rotation with other group orthopedic surgeons
See orthopedic patients - new established and follow-up - at our out-patient orthopedic practice Central Maine Healthcare Orthopedics
Participate in hospital/surgical quality and planning committees as indicated
