Job Description
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited school Dentistry & New York State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Dentist -
-
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
-
Knowledge and abilities commensurate with those of comprehensive general dentistry
-
Strong communication skills and enjoy working with people from a wide socio-economic and diagnostic background
Responsibilities
-
Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions affecting teeth and gums
-
Perform exams using x-rays and diagnostic tools to identify oral health issues
-
Restore cavities with composite amalgam and other materials
-
Administer local anesthesia and perform extractions and minor oral surgeries
-
Clean teeth by scaling and treat infections with medication or surgical methods
-
Take impressions and fit patients for crowns dentures bridges and other prosthetic appliances
-
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
-
Manage daily appointment schedule in alignment with clinic needs
-
Support and guide dental office staff; assist in policy and service development
-
Participate in clinical meetings quality improvement and administrative activities
