As anAccounts Payable Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements. Youll maintain strong vendor relationships support month-end closure and contribute to the financial integrity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review code and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Match purchase orders receiving documents and invoices for accuracy.
- Process check runs wire transfers and ACH payments.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end close.
- Support 1099 preparation and year-end reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice/payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
What Were Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting functions.
- High school diploma required; associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP/Acumatica experience a plus).
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
