What Youll Be Doing

• Beware of surroundings at all time
• Ensure health and safety protocols are being followed and wearing the correct PPE at all times
• Able to work outside in pleasant & unpleasant weather conditions throughout the season
• Able to work safety around large mobile equipment
• Able to work safely around processing moving equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Heres What You Need

• Min 3-5 years of proven experience as an Asphalt raker working with a full paving crew on small to large scale projects
• Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well with a team
• Common knowledge of Municipal and MTO requirements regarding segregation is preferred
• Must have ability to work with and keep up to Asphalt spreader during operations
• Must be able to rake a proper level setup mat for paving machine with minimal segregation
• Preference will be given to those that have the ability to assist with the operation of the paver by running the tail end with skill and confidence
• A valid Ontario G Class Drivers License in good standing and access to a vehicle
• Current member in good standing of LIUNA local 1059 (or willingness to join)
