Location/Division Specific Information
Unity Lab Services provides a single source for integrated lab service support and supply management. Our customised service offerings and extraordinary service experts have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customers laboratorys business needs. This position will be on site at our Customer in Billingham.
How will you make an impact
This position is passionate about service delivery excellence for UnityTM Lab Services.
What will you do
Warehouse/Stockroom Inventory Management
o Stockroom / POU management dispensing of product and direction / coordination of affiliated stockroom activities.
o Enters usage data into appropriate programs for replenishment and invoicing process where appropriate.
o Perform on-site program replenishments and disbursements.
o Perform stockroom duties to include receiving put-away stock rotation cycle counts and other functions according to customer requirements.
o Remove cardboard and trash as needed (detrashing).
o Deliver direct shipment orders to end users (where appropriate).
o Handle consignment and customer owned inventory via the bill of materials ensuring FEFO and FIFO.
o Communicate non-moving stock and stock out information to customer on a regular basis.
Sourcing/Order Management.
o Perform order entry order expediting customer service call resolution return goods authorisation processing of backorders (where appropriate).
o Facilitate vendor and customer interaction problem resolution performing 3rd party & agent buys (where appropriate).
Chemical Management (if Chemical Management exists at site)
o Receive register and supervise all chemical containers throughout the facility.
o Perform routine audits of chemical inventory database.
o Provide chemical inventory reports upon request.
o Distribute chemicals throughout facility and upon request.
o Follow all safety guidelines related to the handling and movement of chemical containers.
How will you get here
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
Experience in logistics operations and warehousing is strongly preferred.
Experience in laboratory setting or services is a plus.
Good organization and time management skills.
Knowledge Skills Abilities.
Possess a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to deal with various levels of personnel at the customer site.
Possess strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service including maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
Must be able to use a computer and possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software.
