Job Description

The Rankin School of Nursing at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a Part-Time Academic Instructor to teach NURS 265 The Registered Nurse and Evidence-Informed Practicein the Fall 2025 term. This course is delivered through StFX Online Online Learning & Professional Studies.

Part-Time Academic Instructor responsibilities include all duties associated with university-level teaching including but not limited to:

  • Preparation and delivery of existing course content
  • Evaluation of assignments tests and examinations
  • Grading and timely submission of final grades
  • Regular student consultation and student hours

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have a PhD or Masters degree with significant experience in the course area. Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level is an asset.
