Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare servicesto the Florida Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-timeDirector of Nursing to join our team atMartin Correctional Institutionlocated in Indiantown Florida.
The Director of Nursing (DON) (Medical) (Florida) is responsible for managing and overseeing the nursing services provided to patients within the correctional facility hospital as well as providing clinical direction and supervision to the Directors of - Friday 8am - 4:30pm extra shifts as needed
Qualifications
- Associates degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strongly prefer candidates withCorrections forensic or criminal justice experience
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
