Job Description:
We are seeking a Strategically-Minded individual for a 12 month contract and are open to 4 or 5 day a week arrangements.
We believe in driving long term sustainable category growth across all our customers. This involves effectively developing category & shopper strategies for the future.
This role will work with the Category Strategy Head to ensure Category Vision and a comprehensive In-Store Strategy are developed and embedded across the business.
What are we looking for
Degree qualified with 5yrs FMCG experience: sales / category / marketingand or Insights (Ideally a mix will be preferred)
Experienced In threading together Insights to form compelling recommendation
You will have external perspective and understand Australian retail dynamic
Understanding of Sales/Category execution & passion for Strategy
Knowledge of basic research
Shopper experience highly regarded
What will be your key responsibilities
1. Embed Category Vision across the business as the leading framework
To Identify where growth will come from
Ensure Innovation pipeline Is In line with growth driving areas
To provide a consistent framework and language shared between our retailers
Incorporate essential elements of Global Category Vision
2. Create align and embed Physical Availability Strategies across Impulse & Sharing
Working collaboratively with Cat Dev to Influence Core Growth Initiatives Agenda
Globally Connected to Test & Learns across Aisle Front of Store Display
Create and evolve opportunities and Size of Prize supported by Insights and connected to local retailer strategies
Ensure any key changes to Merchandising Must Haves are captured In Perfect Store guidelines
Lead and Influence Physical Availability Workstreams with Growth Planning Process - Channel & Customer Reach Portfolio Reach Perfect Store
3. Support in initiatives to build and refine the Enterprise Strategy
