Job Description
Job Summary
A Catholic Part Time Spanish Teacher is responsible for fostering a Christ-centered academically excellent learning environment that nurtures the spiritual intellectual social and emotional growth of each student. The teacher will integrate Catholic values into all aspects of education maintain high academic standards and uphold the mission and vision of the school in alignment with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS).
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a rigorous and engaging Spanish language curriculum.
- Teachstudents fundamental speaking listening reading and writing skills.
- Foster an appreciation for the languages culture and history incorporating Catholic perspectives.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods including interactive activities role-playing and multimedia resources.
- Assess student progress through exams projects and classroom participation.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and curriculum goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Foreign Language Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Teaching certification or ability to obtain one.
- Fluency in the language being taught.
- Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
- Commitment to Catholic education and values.
