Job Description

Glartek a VC-backed company founded in 2017 develops EHS Connected Worker solutions for the industrial sector. We achieve this with EHS Connected Worker technologies integrating AI AR and IoT providing visibility and optimization tools and offering reassurance throughout the work lifecycle: before during and after work execution. Glarteks mobile-first scalable platform supports leading companies in Safety (e.g. risk management and control of work) Quality (e.g. audits and inspections) and Learning and Development (e.g. skills and training management) as well as Sustainability and real-time Communication & Collaboration. Our customer base includes large asset-intensive organizations like EDP and global manufacturers such as Lactalis Daimler and International Paper.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth of the company reporting directly to the Head of Sales and working in close collaboration with the product and customer teams. This is an ideal role for someone starting a career in tech sales with a passion for industry innovation and digital transformation.

As a Business Development Representative youll be on the front lines of our sales process helping expand Glarteks footprint in Spanish or Italian speaking markets.

Youll identify and engage with potential customers qualify leads and work closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive pipeline growth. You will be involved in multiple outbound sales activities including outbound calling outbound mailing and supporting the outbound automation efforts.

You must be a resilient hunter who is not afraid No and you must use your creativity to find and progress sales opportunities.

Tasks

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to identify sales opportunities.
  • Source sales opportunities through outbound calling mailing and social media.
  • Explain and position the benefits of the product.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing and assess their fit and interest.
  • Research accounts identify key players and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects in the CRM.
  • Track weekly monthly and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
  • Collaborate with the growth marketing team to improve outbound automation.
  • Partner with channel partners to build a pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date on Glarteks products market trends and competitor landscape.

Requirements

  • Comfortable making cold calls and engaging with new people all day.
  • Interested in sales and business development activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening presentation and sales skills.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Highly goal-driven and results-oriented.
  • Willing to grow into an international sales role.
  • Self-driven and resilient with a creative mindset.
  • Possesses an energetic outgoing and friendly demeanor.
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center inside sales or related sales experience preferred.
  • Interest in industrial technology and Health Safety and Environmental topics is a plus.
  • Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot Salesforce or Pipedrive is a plus.
  • Fluent in Spanish or Italian.
