Job Description
T. Baker Smith is seeking talented Project Technicians with survey and/or drafting experience to support our growing team in Metairie Louisiana!
Your Opportunity:
- To gain experience working with ProfessionalSurveyors and technicians.
- Prepare client deliverables.
- Calculating analyzing organizing coordinating and researching information preparing drawings and aiding in tasks necessary to complete the project.
- Ability to team up with our surveyors to prepare and discuss drawings and project specifications and details for a variety of survey and mapping projects.
- Providing technical support for project teams.
- To help in any area necessary to get the work completed according to the project schedule.
- Assist other project teams or departments with technical field or other duties as needed or requested.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree in Drafting and Design or Bachelor degree in Geomatics
- Proven experience in survey and mapping.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D MicroStation InRoads or OpenRoads.
- Self-motivation and the ability to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced highly dynamic environment.
