The University of Nevada Las Vegas invites applications for International Admissions Coordinator UNLV Enrollment Management Recruitment R0147474

ROLE of the POSITION

Reporting to the Director of Recruitment the International Admissions Coordinator (IAC) serves as the primary point of contact for prospective international undergraduate and graduate students throughout the enrollment process from prospect through the point of matriculation. The IACs responsibilities include but are not limited to growing international undergraduate and graduate program enrollment research and implementation of marketing initiatives development and execution of an international student recruitment plan including recruitment events communication with prospective international undergraduate and graduate students throughout the admissions and enrollment process and supporting international students through matriculation. The IAC develops and manages relationships with international agents to effectively market UNLVs primary educational benefits and offerings to attract international students and ensure appropriate efficient and friendly processes for international applicants. The IAC works closely with other Enrollment Management units UNLV Global advisors and other administrators in academic units to ensure seamless enrollment transition and advisement. The Admissions Coordinator represents UNLV at various recruitment events develops and delivers presentations to students agents and other stakeholders and manages a pipeline of international undergraduate and graduate students each semester and each year.

This position is critical in the recruitment process for prospective online students serving as the first point of contact for international students at both the undergraduate and graduate level throughout the application process. The IAC will address specific questions related to international admission requirements Form I-20 and visa requirements major and program availability costs scholarships and financial aid and the credential evaluation process and will support the unique needs of international students and determine the best path to fulfilling their educational and career goals.

The IAC will work collaboratively with UNLV Global to support international recruitment partnerships and onboarding processes for international students as necessary. Finally this position is responsible for providing leadership in carrying out special initiatives as assigned by the Director of Recruitment or Enrollment Management leadership and will be expected to travel in-state out-of-state and internationally and will work irregular hours including weekends.

All positions in Academic Affairs contribute to our core mission: to increase enrollment and promote equitable student success. By addressing systemic obstacles and implementing strategic services programs and support this position will play a part in enhancing student enrollment retention successful progression timely completion and equitable outcomes in order to meaningfully contribute to the institutions commitment to expand access grow enrollment and promote equitable student success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires aBachelors Degreefrom an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and1 - 3 Years of Related Professional Experience. Relevant experience as it relates to student engagement recruitment and customer service. Candidate must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in international recruitment or admissions at an institution of higher education.
