Job Description

Territory Sales Representative

Location: New Jersey
Compensation: $75000 - $85000 base salary commission (Approx. $120000 - $125000 OTE)

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Representative (TSR) to manage and grow sales within a New Jersey market. This role will be responsible for executing approved sales and marketing strategies maintaining strong relationships with customers and increasing market share within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales within assigned distribution accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with roofing contractors remodelers builders and architects to generate product demand.
  • Deliver presentations on products and programs to distributors and end users.
  • Conduct product knowledge training sessions for customers.
  • Monitor and manage territory pricing in response to competitive activity.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and administrative follow-ups.
  • Submit weekly intelligence reports and maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events training sessions and internal meetings.
  • Comply with company health safety and vehicle policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Valid drivers license with clean record
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the building products industry preferred
  • Experience selling to roofing contractors builders and/or architects highly valued
  • Previous formal sales training is a plus
  • Must be comfortable working both independently and on the road
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Additional Information:

  • Position requires up to 100% travel within the territory
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities is an asset
