Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies has an immediate need for an Operations Program Integratorat ourAdvanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) located inHuntsville Alabama.In this role you will lead and represent the Operations team across multiple sites in developing and executing maturity and transition plans for development stage programs. This role will be the primary interface with key team members to ensure alignment of Operations and Program objectives across multiple sites.

Essential Functions:

  • Team Leadership creating plans to integrate several cross-functional groups such as manufacturing engineering tool engineering/design and manufacturing operations so that products can be developed and delivered per schedule and budget targets.
  • Influencing and aligning expectations and execution of program and operations teams objectives.
  • Developing relationships with cross-functional teams often times across multiple sites.
  • Ability to remain collected and manage expectations while requirements are still developing.
  • Establish and oversee program plans for the operations site teams to successfully execute the program requirements relative to schedule cost and performance/quality. This will include hardware manufacturing tool design and fabrication staffing process development and facility needs.
  • Interface with program teams members and customers to ensure the program needs and site plans are in alignment. Develop recovery plans when issue arise and coordinate applicable corrective actions.
  • Work special projects as assigned and recommend improvements to key processes that would improve the overall flow of the sites products.
  • 10% Travel required .
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior operations management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior operations management experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior operations management experience.
  • 3 years manufacturing experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze evaluate and develop solutions to technical problems with minimum supervision is preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management is preferred.
  • Presentation skills (creating and delivery) is preferred.
  • Experience with composite manufacturing in the aerospace industry is highly desired.
