Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies and Palo Alto firewalls. The candidate will be responsible for designing implementing managing and supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructure ensuring security scalability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex LAN WAN and VPN architectures using Cisco routers switches and firewalls.
- Configure deploy and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls including security policies NAT rules and IPS/IDS features.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Manage and optimize network routing protocols (EIGRP OSPF BGP).
- Perform network segmentation VLAN management and QoS configurations.
- Work with Cisco ASA and Cisco DNA Center (if available).
- Optional: Manage SD-WAN deployments on ION devices.
- Work with Juniper Aruba Wireless environment.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning failover and high availability designs.
- Develop and maintain network documentation diagrams and SOPs.
- Collaborate with security and cloud teams to enforce network security policies.
- Perform periodic firmware/software upgrades and patch management.
- Mentor junior network engineers and assist in capacity planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in network engineering with enterprise-scale networks.
- Expert-level knowledge of Cisco technologies: Routers Switches (Catalyst Nexus) ASA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS Panorama).
- Experience with VPNs (site-to-site remote access) and IPsec tunnels.
- Understanding of network security best practices and compliance (e.g. ISO NIST).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Wireshark NetFlow SNMP Syslog etc.
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching Security)
- Cisco CCST / CCCA (Cyber Security)
- Palo Alto PCNSE (Network Security Engineer)
