About Lafayette IN:

Lafayette is a town of about 70000 people and is home to Purdue University and the Boilermakers. Because it is a college town there is a good variety of restaurants and things to do. Lafayette is located about an hour from Indianapolis which has an International Airport. Chicago is about 2 hours away. The cost-of-living index in Lafayette is about 5-10% below the national average.

Job Description:

This role will be based at a 250-person chemical and food additives manufacturing facility located near Lafayette IN. You will be a member of a process engineering team doing small capital projects process optimization and some day-to-day support. The parent company has several facilities throughout the United States and there is a defined advancement plant. The bonus target for this role starts at 5% and within 1-3 years depending on performance you will be promoted to a Senior Process Engineer role that has a bonus target of 20%. This company has an excellent relocation policy as well providing for moving costs the costs of breaking a lease or selling and home and a house-hunting trip to the area.

Minimum Requirements:

B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering is required
5 years of post-college of in plant experience out food chemicals resins
Previous PSM experience is nice-to-have not must-have
